About Us
The Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto’s B’nai Tzedek Teen Philanthropy Program is a tool for teens to make a difference in the world. The objectives of B’nai Tzedek are to:
- Enable teens to have the power to make a difference by establishing an endowment fund in his or her own name with a minimum of $1000.
- Empower teens to change the world through Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
- Educate teens about communal and international causes that need their help.
- Develop leadership and a lifelong commitment with Tzedakah.
- Offer the opportunity to network with other teens with a common interest of helping others and making a difference in the world.
OUR MISSION: To give teens the power to make a difference through Tzedakah, deepen their commitment to social action, and educate teens about local and international non-profit Jewish organizations.
OUR VISION: Engage Jewish teens in a lifelong relationship with Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and help cultivate future leaders within the Jewish community.
